a natural anti-histamine

Quercetin is a plant pigment ("flavonoid") and antioxidant that is found in foods like leafy greens, berries, tomatoes, and broccoli. It helps reduce inflammation in the body and can be taken in supplement form in higher doses. Since it reduces inflammation and is a natural anti-histamine, it is automatically indicated for allergies, asthma, skin reactions, and hay fever. Quercetin can help reduce the release of histamine from certain immune cells so symptoms of coughs, watery eyes, runny nose, hives and swelling can be minimized.
